For over 40 years, I lived at the heart of the publishing world-helping major brands like Dow Jones-Irwin and Dearborn Trade bring ideas to life. But I always knew there was another story to tell. Today, I've traded the corporate boardroom for the quiet clarity of the Lake Michigan shoreline, where I write books that help both children and adults find their own "wings."
My Mission
I believe that stories have the power to bridge the gap between personal mindfulness and collective action. Whether it's through a children's tale about a pig who dreams of flying or a guide to the power of gratitude, my goal is to inspire an appreciation for the beauty of the world around us. We believe in giving back "Beyond the Book" and serve as a sponsor of World Cat Month (October) and World Sea Star Day (November 17).

When I'm Not Writing...
You can find me walking the beaches of Lake Michigan, observing the local wildlife, and practicing the very mindfulness I write about. I live by the belief that we all have our own way to shine. We just have to believe in our own wings.
